چکیده
The design phase and safety assessment of Generation IV liquid metal-cooled fast reactors calls for the improvement fuel pin performance codes, in particular enhancement their predictive capabilities towards uranium-plutonium mixed oxide fuels stainless-steel cladding under irradiation reactor environments. To this end, current codes must be critically assessed against experimental data from available experiments. This work is devoted to three European namely GERMINAL, MACROS TRANSURANUS, two pins selected SUPERFACT-1 campaign. are characterized by a low enrichment (~ 2 wt.%) minor actinides (neptunium americium) fuel, plutonium content material line with choices envisaged fuels. predictions compared several measurements, allowing identification code predicting restructuring, deformation, redistribution volatile fission products. integral complemented code-to-code benchmark focused on evolution quantities engineering interest over time. analysis points out differences central temperature, fuel-cladding gap width, outer radius, internal pressure gas release suggests potential modelling development paths an improved description behaviour conditions.

The limited indigenous uranium resource coupled with the need of energy independence necessitated the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) in India to opt for a three-stage nuclear power program comprising of PHWRs in Stage 1, FBRs in Stage 2 and Th-U based reactors in Stage 3, respectively to meet the energy needs of the growing Indian economy. Presently the country has stepped into the 2nd Stage...

the present study sought to investigate the role of dynamic assessment (da) in improvement of iranian efl writing performance at different language proficiency levels. to this end, after conducting the quick placement test, 60 iranian efl learners were assigned to two groups with different language proficiency levels. in both groups each participant wrote two compositions, one before and one af...
assessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea
data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
